Climate change and plastic pollution are some of the biggest challenges of our time. Every year over 1 trillion plastic bags are used for an average of 20 minutes. We were thinking about what we can do to get more people to reuse their bag and came up with goodbag.


goodbag is a smart reusable shopping bag that makes it fun and rewarding for people to reuse their bag and allows them to track their own positive impact on the environment in real-time. The bag itself is smart and has a small NFC (near-field-communication) chip integrated in the goodbag logo. Every time customers reuse their goodbag in one of over 10 Million shops worldwide or buy sustainable products they collect points – we call them Seeds. Every Seed has a monetary value that lets users support environmental projects around the globe with a simple click in our App. They can currently chose to plant trees, clean beaches or collect plastic waste out of the ocean.

goodcup is a smart reusable coffee cup that prevents the use of single-use cups. Just like goodbag, each goodcup contains an NFC chip underneath the orange logo. Every time customers refill their cups at a coffee shop or a bakery they can scan the cup with the app to collect additional Seeds and donate them to their favorite projects.
